We had a birthday party with friends for him for the first time. It was easy as pie and really fun to have it on a wednesday after school at C.C. We had the whole place to ourselves. yeah! He had a great time and it was nice to see the parents of so many of his friends. Ethan is a very sweet big brother. He really attends to the needs of his baby sisters the best in the family. He is so loving and gentle and kind. He has a big body and huge heart. <div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpoZzZUb8MXPqOrgfkIF6cB8R8AHgIcGceRMlnd0I4UORD9AqM6mcLy-Lbt5B6OObCGLQbsLKFNu-JlMmjCNDHmCx_4O9mIVTqQ1s_vW_jg5JEJQQs1gKym7D-Rs_O1lQVgVF8LllJ-g/s1600/IMG_1691.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpoZzZUb8MXPqOrgfkIF6cB8R8AHgIcGceRMlnd0I4UORD9AqM6mcLy-Lbt5B6OObCGLQbsLKFNu-JlMmjCNDHmCx_4O9mIVTqQ1s_vW_jg5JEJQQs1gKym7D-Rs_O1lQVgVF8LllJ-g/s320/IMG_1691.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676882111401199330" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYNc1piBeNU2J7aft__m52gC8UfSbtcjWe0QQujuN7lC-e4Z_AAiXrHB-iF9tQmRHTFihOWoz5kzaxbCEuLb6RT4CnSTAAp4M85JCkVz2zY9DXLxyrkaUUD7fEzPQV9s54Gyr1MIcHUg/s1600/IMG_1689.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 180px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYNc1piBeNU2J7aft__m52gC8UfSbtcjWe0QQujuN7lC-e4Z_AAiXrHB-iF9tQmRHTFihOWoz5kzaxbCEuLb6RT4CnSTAAp4M85JCkVz2zY9DXLxyrkaUUD7fEzPQV9s54Gyr1MIcHUg/s320/IMG_1689.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676882111009660274" /></a>The picture of the hands with warts is worth posting for information. We burn them off ourselves! It's way better than going to the doctor or using over the counter medicine. Call me if you want more info. It's is fun! I love burning off warts. She the kind of bread maker that no recipe can do justice. I tried to just watch and follow along as she made this batch of bread. Look how my first step turned out! The dark brown mess is my version of her beautiful bowl on the left! I just thought that was so funny and sadly telling. <div><br /></div><div>I make bread. I grind my own wheat and make it fresh all the time, but i still use a recipe and it's nothing like my moms. My mom makes bread for all who pass by her house. She takes it to friends. It is her gift and excuse to visit the sick and lonely. She is a wonderful bread maker and a very gracious wonderful person. When I make bread I keep it! Usually because it's not that great but also because that was a lot of work and I want it. I have a long way to go to be more like my mom. I hope I live a really, really, really, long time!</div>Bevhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04155858810168814537noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934149128938047753.post-86053755555003206622011-11-17T22:34:00.000-08:002011-11-17T22:41:09.955-08:00<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJXA9yOmlVHZAaemK1E_-_OCi7as-wYFgbCoiT6WeGkHYA4tTwbwFS4_wQt6YSY2BPZEoj3jkgA6ljGyKDblg-5tzBLM_eFHvkDm8HEQ-9_-3fU-3QLfEk94jjjmOQNhSTXQrMEm29Ig/s1600/IMG_1562.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 180px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJXA9yOmlVHZAaemK1E_-_OCi7as-wYFgbCoiT6WeGkHYA4tTwbwFS4_wQt6YSY2BPZEoj3jkgA6ljGyKDblg-5tzBLM_eFHvkDm8HEQ-9_-3fU-3QLfEk94jjjmOQNhSTXQrMEm29Ig/s320/IMG_1562.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676221224186838306" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZpeKQsWcakKbhn4B1P6uUBFF6XKYVMinBBjSkoRVjXCIvP2nIQxv16zmny8NtypBMc9G4MJ1xX_-ZOQVORYWZDAuKZKHWhDrUziyHE3N5AI6zpJj3qd3fkWbmc5RhSYfbNR33U59UAA/s1600/IMG_1571.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZpeKQsWcakKbhn4B1P6uUBFF6XKYVMinBBjSkoRVjXCIvP2nIQxv16zmny8NtypBMc9G4MJ1xX_-ZOQVORYWZDAuKZKHWhDrUziyHE3N5AI6zpJj3qd3fkWbmc5RhSYfbNR33U59UAA/s320/IMG_1571.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676221218477359778" /></a>The Girls!<div>Loving up the neighbors horses.</div><div><br /></div><div>Me in my potato sack dress.</div><div><br /></div><div>A really great pic of Kasen having to share grandma with his other cousins. I'm lucky if its planned for the week on special occasion weeks!!!)</div><div><br /></div><div>WOW, were did that blogginess come from? </div>Bevhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04155858810168814537noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934149128938047753.post-81993925081386376792011-11-17T22:00:00.000-08:002011-11-17T22:11:12.719-08:00update continued more!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTuHLmNVreOAXUK4xm5A9DOsl4kp6o0r2nT8YdIFvNQHtO-N1vd3eFpVq4X6XamF9x5umxiPj96ABeQgjwvGw_VKA5bvts4uvZ1xVYZVWmgIvOYxWyPvHuuMi6fRE8bOhZ6cDUblL2Eg/s1600/IMG_1414.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 180px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTuHLmNVreOAXUK4xm5A9DOsl4kp6o0r2nT8YdIFvNQHtO-N1vd3eFpVq4X6XamF9x5umxiPj96ABeQgjwvGw_VKA5bvts4uvZ1xVYZVWmgIvOYxWyPvHuuMi6fRE8bOhZ6cDUblL2Eg/s320/IMG_1414.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676212469692924418" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1X75RabQAl7bSFmCweiek5gCS08fQDZZB0-ja6UWqw1OaicCZv8I0odM-Jfh5NMRt5RmtZKFThmDat16YLkXGyiBfxiEFsWJ9-gxDqnLORiefj30yqLem58MMD9a034FYxNiLF_pbgA/s1600/IMG_1248.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1X75RabQAl7bSFmCweiek5gCS08fQDZZB0-ja6UWqw1OaicCZv8I0odM-Jfh5NMRt5RmtZKFThmDat16YLkXGyiBfxiEFsWJ9-gxDqnLORiefj30yqLem58MMD9a034FYxNiLF_pbgA/s320/IMG_1248.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676212456372634370" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgk_ll7CGt_ErWMWcvmxysI8EmNocyBfIHkLGx0_nhGj_gnxXWJbLqd2zQSnNBCt05wACduwYPanqjRejSUx89Q6v_eu-05GfKdpt38jUpv45TPC0WDpGSG3U11wl-fP72GFwyZ4VEqg/s1600/IMG_1241.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgk_ll7CGt_ErWMWcvmxysI8EmNocyBfIHkLGx0_nhGj_gnxXWJbLqd2zQSnNBCt05wACduwYPanqjRejSUx89Q6v_eu-05GfKdpt38jUpv45TPC0WDpGSG3U11wl-fP72GFwyZ4VEqg/s320/IMG_1241.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676212447494753314" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFf88zFqERf4Lwu3ZK4mvpo2FnmgfABqhjvUOhy6xZSJuM83rESRG_p32VpTFKfzekt24wd1sBZnq32fQfXiKFGJdSk87gRf8ioBXvbNS635v83_EinbmvfmnD5fP2bxKXIkGkroWHTQ/s1600/IMG_1299.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFf88zFqERf4Lwu3ZK4mvpo2FnmgfABqhjvUOhy6xZSJuM83rESRG_p32VpTFKfzekt24wd1sBZnq32fQfXiKFGJdSk87gRf8ioBXvbNS635v83_EinbmvfmnD5fP2bxKXIkGkroWHTQ/s320/IMG_1299.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676212443253563634" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXfLiwALAYo2m56H3KgaKXAWJcuSlLlusCFGQooUvRA_IIjvNtSh3PjNe9QMLSy8DYPQkc71z1XVrjwVURoHC-W-pqosz-1U63yB00qBHK7QziynxW4Lm0C2YOho65jU5T3SrGB6TSUw/s1600/IMG_1259.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXfLiwALAYo2m56H3KgaKXAWJcuSlLlusCFGQooUvRA_IIjvNtSh3PjNe9QMLSy8DYPQkc71z1XVrjwVURoHC-W-pqosz-1U63yB00qBHK7QziynxW4Lm0C2YOho65jU5T3SrGB6TSUw/s320/IMG_1259.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676212438002726930" /></a><br /><i>(yeah, I'm pretty much good with a slight variation of the same title for all of these updates) </i><div><br /><div>So Josy made this sign! The experience was a little dramatic because Eth wasn't ready for Scott to pull it out of his face but Scott just did it anyway and there was a little blood and a few tears. Scott made it all better when he started telling Ethan that his milk was cool blood milk from his mouth bleeding so much. Ethan got a huge kick out of that and started re-telling the blood milk joke for some laughs. It is a joyful feeling to watch your child chose to become a member of your faith. I love life and think blogging is cool but...<div><br /></div><div>So here are some pictures to catch me up on this last year. We are about ready to go home to blessed Orderville and have our 2nd annual Turkey Top Shot, 3rd annual Turkey Trot, 1st annual Turkey Games for kids, and 1003rd annual Turkey Tournament! It is the best time ever! It's hard to beat Thanksgiving in O-ville. Now about these pictures:</div><div>Last Christmas we had a party at Dave and Janets with Sams family and did the Christmas story. Blaze was our baby Jesus so that was special. </div><div>Next our house right after we bought it. It is completely different now so this pictures is fun to look back on. The remodel is very much loved by all. </div><div>Next picture was last halloween 1010! My kids were heart broken because I told them we might not make the halloween party because I can't rely on them to clean up their toys after they play with them. It was a pretty big bad evening and very memorable. I of course way overreacted. The poor kids were in the middle of being sad and I had to have my halloween picture of their costumes. We did go to the party but not before I scarred them for life.</div><div>The Turkey Tournament. Need I say more? Just look at those amazing wonderful athletes. Tim Tebow has go nothin on the men in those jerseys! </div><div>Turkey Top Shot. My mom taking aim. I look forward to competing this year and trying to take home the famous hat the DeAnna so beautifully cross stitches!!! </div><div>Now I'm going to go get more pictures to post. This is sorta fun. I am in a good mood because sweetie pie Tim Tebow just beat the Jets. Go Broncos!</div>Bevhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04155858810168814537noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934149128938047753.post-2384363997195921092011-01-04T21:14:00.001-08:002011-01-05T07:48:58.850-08:00Photo update<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiap8bp-JHMJTWaPnozE8X_VcNaTFHBr_bihYCUkvsGBN9cUzq63iRNP8xBBkaNmYAaR50gAyTc6WY0KYVklwN3qEGOcNphzCeLtpABUSFVbqb1y0jIuc5jO139fosZ4G7ITl0mhvVTLA/s1600/IMG_0522.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiap8bp-JHMJTWaPnozE8X_VcNaTFHBr_bihYCUkvsGBN9cUzq63iRNP8xBBkaNmYAaR50gAyTc6WY0KYVklwN3qEGOcNphzCeLtpABUSFVbqb1y0jIuc5jO139fosZ4G7ITl0mhvVTLA/s320/IMG_0522.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5558567474156080546" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQybmCThMGG3dThSZNk7Do23Vj7NKfa5oLlbYGJhyphenhypheneg7DRxMDUqBTWKPZ_fWWrpb5y3QVO66z0pCRKzpfRu6OsBlGg8mVPmYoAs7cnAuHYzQQKY6ShZjX2TKJ9Ptzam2JIEh41raH5jg/s1600/IMG_0462.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQybmCThMGG3dThSZNk7Do23Vj7NKfa5oLlbYGJhyphenhypheneg7DRxMDUqBTWKPZ_fWWrpb5y3QVO66z0pCRKzpfRu6OsBlGg8mVPmYoAs7cnAuHYzQQKY6ShZjX2TKJ9Ptzam2JIEh41raH5jg/s320/IMG_0462.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5558567468452519554" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRLgnstRh-psWsOE2gz4Dae-9Uoc7V5lLSKNSNhNxirdB7VGnWnmfnXNMs4_gJUkQ54IvC7dPEkmcbuTozi4NAfiAblsmQgseCETgVa_woYHTmhnil6zkBhyphenhyphenrmmnL8ps3xeSp_TTAqnA/s1600/IMG_0399.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRLgnstRh-psWsOE2gz4Dae-9Uoc7V5lLSKNSNhNxirdB7VGnWnmfnXNMs4_gJUkQ54IvC7dPEkmcbuTozi4NAfiAblsmQgseCETgVa_woYHTmhnil6zkBhyphenhyphenrmmnL8ps3xeSp_TTAqnA/s320/IMG_0399.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5558567463240245426" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZYWOlXj3KlOsY8IqKwslrucBJp1rWQKGf-FRnCDSx5lEMOdSTfQXXFBdtppQbCoGd1zjSxwTDsC8RZm-nvZGniOSR_k6flFCACLU0BzyUq6z3KwSigKxfpNoKhwTebZ-zzoqAIF1D_g/s1600/IMG_0087.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZYWOlXj3KlOsY8IqKwslrucBJp1rWQKGf-FRnCDSx5lEMOdSTfQXXFBdtppQbCoGd1zjSxwTDsC8RZm-nvZGniOSR_k6flFCACLU0BzyUq6z3KwSigKxfpNoKhwTebZ-zzoqAIF1D_g/s320/IMG_0087.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5558567457275737506" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9o8KTD2PlqGHMG5G5VLblQpQhNsF48MRGtupNGqTMlI29rMlBKbqX8V5vG3u9M3vuLSohPzhaONQvu0KYJRXFOOPzNUfaU3w74kHEDign5cmmxhaY-9l4zW_ZRiugy87wEdWdZPna6w/s1600/100_7695.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9o8KTD2PlqGHMG5G5VLblQpQhNsF48MRGtupNGqTMlI29rMlBKbqX8V5vG3u9M3vuLSohPzhaONQvu0KYJRXFOOPzNUfaU3w74kHEDign5cmmxhaY-9l4zW_ZRiugy87wEdWdZPna6w/s320/100_7695.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5558567453176355378" /></a>Bevhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04155858810168814537noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934149128938047753.post-72031024499133171342010-08-06T12:33:00.000-07:002010-08-06T12:46:50.704-07:00Another Angel Girl<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrLoLzUqgE6ICmTbcnMoqg6jUq0ME5puHFTGw1AVgqQT0TkbDYblpYCdSWwzLUi6y-CH62nUO0KoYlrUiKGJl177Jotgqwjlejrlse5cyduO2KaPde_M00ws7spmNDNB0FaIknMmO4eQ/s1600/IMG_7567.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrLoLzUqgE6ICmTbcnMoqg6jUq0ME5puHFTGw1AVgqQT0TkbDYblpYCdSWwzLUi6y-CH62nUO0KoYlrUiKGJl177Jotgqwjlejrlse5cyduO2KaPde_M00ws7spmNDNB0FaIknMmO4eQ/s320/IMG_7567.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5502382643173491666" /></a>She is here!!! We are so happy to have four kids. Alana Ruth was born Saturday morning July 31st. (my grandma Beth's birthday) <div>Labor was intense and fast. Only 4 hours this time and I felt focused and strong the whole time. It is certainly painful but once it is over I think to myself I would go through labor again and again for this perfect little person in my arms. </div><div>We had a hard time picking a name for her. She was going to be "Kate" for the majority of my pregnancy, but I was always so unsure. Then a couple days before she was born Scott and I were out at the Macaroni Grill writing names down on the paper table cloth and Scott wrote down Alana Ruth (after his Hansen grandparents). We both loved it, and really felt something special about it's meaning to our family. So even though we didn't have a final name until she was born it was clear that she was Alana when we met her. It was fun to call grandma Ruth and let her know her name. She said Alan was a great man and she misses him. We do too. Alana will be a "straight arrow-true heart" in honor of her great grandfather. </div><div>I love that we have four kids. I look forward to holidays and family traditions. I love right now! </div>Bevhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04155858810168814537noreply@blogger.com12tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934149128938047753.post-30067794216017264762010-07-10T19:07:00.000-07:002010-07-10T19:08:11.661-07:00<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXhXi7Xr20UpuHNTlS3oUe4zr9DRDU1yRHkvGCGF3jhEE70GRypil3cqMiGqbbBk_NHIqTu3xv7PSZyIr74BAs0-ffqOPK7dYtVWrkcGOtTKMkbDO1gt_uVM9WIW3S6qk97AQVermDCg/s1600/IMG_0930.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXhXi7Xr20UpuHNTlS3oUe4zr9DRDU1yRHkvGCGF3jhEE70GRypil3cqMiGqbbBk_NHIqTu3xv7PSZyIr74BAs0-ffqOPK7dYtVWrkcGOtTKMkbDO1gt_uVM9WIW3S6qk97AQVermDCg/s320/IMG_0930.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5492464687541551666" /></a>Bevhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04155858810168814537noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934149128938047753.post-42359020342581302092010-07-10T18:59:00.000-07:002010-07-10T19:07:03.096-07:00Outside!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7xdOablMq_9yLuRYAArjTh9w0jaXYKSY-ubwXCUks-0hCm7Ey63kANXL66NIPKhcJyCyOnei2qvYP2zIiBLVVJoRWxfc4DjQezsyHLaXWlq9CT1vnJvAo8EZ4cpvwI9f5bhU2Z-VYyQ/s1600/IMG_0993.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 247px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7xdOablMq_9yLuRYAArjTh9w0jaXYKSY-ubwXCUks-0hCm7Ey63kANXL66NIPKhcJyCyOnei2qvYP2zIiBLVVJoRWxfc4DjQezsyHLaXWlq9CT1vnJvAo8EZ4cpvwI9f5bhU2Z-VYyQ/s320/IMG_0993.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5492462844883618146" /></a>Joslyn is happy when she is doing activities outside. She explores and want to climb mountains. She loves riding in the truck singing Taylor Swift songs with her head out the window looking at the river. It is so crazy to see how much she is growing up. We just attach our pop-up to the truck and drive until we find a nice little spot by the Poudre River. It doesn't take much planning and it feels like a great treat to get away. We practice casting our fishing poles, hike along the river, roast hot dogs, make smores and drink pop! It is a great time. After a comfy nights sleep we just pop down the camper and drive away. (we don't even unhook from the truck) Good times!Bevhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04155858810168814537noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934149128938047753.post-86239226614685836672010-06-11T21:58:00.000-07:002010-06-11T22:12:05.501-07:00Nine Years<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrXuWESA7sB9AKJQ1p4271Cn5UB2W2DMtvtlul2JZY69Ctc8zfS9626l1TZ4Yq8e05jSl_DNyavfrBW9aZdh4CpCx3ZEh29agBbPSsTMFxMEKX_1ZKXiY8xmJRzPptA8GAX8ZKDzVxTg/s1600/IMG_0763.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrXuWESA7sB9AKJQ1p4271Cn5UB2W2DMtvtlul2JZY69Ctc8zfS9626l1TZ4Yq8e05jSl_DNyavfrBW9aZdh4CpCx3ZEh29agBbPSsTMFxMEKX_1ZKXiY8xmJRzPptA8GAX8ZKDzVxTg/s320/IMG_0763.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5481747403357415970" /></a><br />Scott and I celebrated our 9th anniversary June 2nd. We started the day off by attending the Salt Lake Temple. It was great, we had never been there before, it was beautiful. We visited the surrounding church sites too. <i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">Cut and paste the link below to see the cool new temple model they have in the south visitors center. It's not an unusual thing for me to go to a funeral and feel it is a happy occasion. I felt the same way when my sweet grandma Sorensen passed. I believe they are happy, and reuniting with loved one long missed. My favorite memory of my grandma happened while visiting her in her nursing home room. She was looking at a picture of her husband and she said "isn't he handsome, I miss him." She also drew me close in to her and sweetly and intently told me she loves my children and asked me to tell them about her. I promised I would and I have. These are some memories of Grandma Wanda.</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; "><br />One of my earliest memories is out at the ranch when I thought the cows were going to stampeed us, she comforted me.<br />One of my favorit memories is my speical b-day with grandma. When I was 10 0r 11, I can't remember for sure how old, Just grandma and I went to st. george and grandma bought me an outfit that I picked out on my very own. She didn't discourage me (althought she probably should have becuase I have a picture of me in it and it is quite hideous. At least beverly will be happy to know it was all pink with pandabears on it. (maybe that is way I dislike pink.) Anyway she just loved me and told me how precious I was to her. Some of my other favorite memories of grandma are<br />1. Vitamn C<br />2. canned cherries<br />3. sitting at the table visiting over what ever was on the table<br />4. The tree house<br />5. Christmas at grandmas ( socks and underware)<br />6. Reading histories in her chair in the corner<br />7. Helping her clean her house<br />8. Sleeping over when I worked in kanab late<br />9. Grandmas kisses and Bless your heart<br />10. Salsa and cheese at new years<br />11. The cubord. You all know what I'm talking about<br />12. The big steel ball game. <br />13. How grandmas house smelled and felt</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; ">(DeAnna Dana')</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:100%;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:100%;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px;">How GREAT<br />My earliest were with Grandma and how she would love to go to McDonalds and get her a diet coke, and when I was with her, she would buy me an ice cream, then we would just go for a drive a little out of town toward lake Powell, and then turn around and come home. <br />1. Working for Grandma, and she would always pay me at least 2 dollars.<br />2. Green cups<br />3. Vitamin C<br />4. Scriptures on Tape<br />5. Going to buy groceries with Grandma and her old bluish/grayish car<br />6. The Tree House<br />7. The swing outside<br />8. The BIG pillow we always wanted for movies that was Grandpas I think<br />9. Definately Christmas time going over to visit and getting socks, then when she hit the big bucks we got 20 dollars:)<br />10. Her hair was always done up very nice<br />11. NEVER using the front door and never knocking, just walking in...knocking on the counter as we saw her in her chair yelling out who it was<br />12. OH...sleeping over at her house, in the spare room across from the bathroom, there was a mirror with flowers around it on the wall, and everytime I slept over it would SCARE the crap out of me and she would always come and take it down and comfort me til I fell back asleep. It always lookedl like scary monkeys from the Wizard of Oz.<br />13. Kisses on the lips<br />14. I LOVE YOU's<br />15. Her game cupboard<br />16. Her shelves with all her grandkids and kids on it<br />17. My favorite picture of her and Grandpa at the temple together, then all her kids and their families in that big black picture frame that had white lace around it<br />18. Bacon made in the microwave and frozen waffles for breakfast...nobody made it better than GRANDMA!!!!<br />19. The only time I can remember being at the ranch, and sitting on a cactus, her helping mom pull the needles out of my bare bum, while Aunt Susan held the blanket to cover me:)<br />20. HUGS, and how LOVED she made me feel. Like I was the most Precious thing in the whole world!!! Oh how I love her kisses on the lips!<br /> OH and how she thinks that we are the best singers in the whole wide world. <br />One of the last times I went to visit her, she asked me to sing her a song...So I sang her Families can be Together forever...she tried to sing along, then told me how beautiful that was:) Going to visit her and everytime never fail, she would tell me how great MY Mother and how much she loves her! She never let me forget how important LOVE and family is. Oh, how I love that woman!!!<br /> Wait..I forgot one...HER HUGE magnifying glass and going to get the mail:) </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:100%;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px;">( Jana Claudia)</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:100%;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:100%;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:100%;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium; "><table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" width="100%" class="b" style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: normal; ">How Great! I agree! <br />I loved sleeping over at her house.<br />Her breakfast of eggs and bacon and she made mickey mouse pancakes with warm syrup.<br />Snacking in her kitchen. Nuts/Chips/<br />Vitiman C<br />Playing Cards with her.<br />Her calling me precious.<br />The way she really wanted us to make a tape of our singing so she could listen to us other than<br />Christmas time.<br />Playing at Mandee's and watching Kerry Don mow her lawn for her. <br />Her tomatoes growing in her window.<br />Getting a present from her at Christmas. She loved our visits.<br />The annual cousin Christmas party and gift exchange and talent show. That was so fun.<br />Glover picnics in the sands. <br />One time we went and hiked in some caves where treasure was supposed to be. I thought my dad was<br />going to find the treasure.<br />Getting our pictures taken with Grandpa Glover before he died. <br />I loved staying with Grandma when Jerry was in the hospital getting his heart surgery. I was loving life, I<br />got to be pampered by grandma and then eat ice-cream push-ups with dad in his classroom. <br />She is a wonderful grandma and I is really nice to think about our memories of her.<br />(Bev)<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium; "><br /><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; ">Just a few to begin with:<br /><br />I remember being her sweetheart. She was always kind and gentle. She loved brushing my hair, and moving the bangs out of my face so she could see my "beautiful eyes". She would hold my hand and we would sit on her bed and talk about all her fun jewelry... She would help me try them on and model them in her mirror. She would always say, "what a beautiful girl you are Linda, You remember that." I always have remembered that my grandmother thought I was beautiful. She loved to show me her perfume too. Oh the fun smells we would make as we picked rose petals, and made them into beautiful "perfumed" balls to string on necklaces and bracelets. Most everyone would be in the garden, or outside doing something "fun", but Grandma loved to make things with me inside and never made me go and help, I could help her in the kitchen, or take a rest in the<br />bedroom. She would make sure that it was quiet, and there was NO light coming in to distract me. She would bring me an extra pillow, and a blanket "just in case", and she'd lay it at the bottom, covering my feet. She did this for me even as an adult when I'd drop by on my way back from Vegas, or some other trip. <br /><br />Grandma always told me not to worry about getting married, that I was a very special girl, and someday a very special boy would find me, that I would be priceless to him. We would sit in the back room (this is after Grandpa had passed away) and listen to books on tape, and I'd rub her feet. <br /><br />Grandma would always comfort me because she knew that I was scared of the dogs at the ranch. She was with me when I found the biggest, most beautiful spearhead I had ever seen. We were just walking along and there it was. <br /><br />RUMMY : I swear she knew a way to cheat to win. It was fun to play with her.<br /><br />New Years Eve at Grandmas were some of the funnest I had in high school. :)<br /><br />Food, Food, and more Food : everything but those Danged beets , well, and the occasional parsnip. :)<br /><br />Salsa!!!<br />She had the best sweet pickles too.<br />Nights of watching the adults play pinocle.<br />The steel ball game ... I so could get the highest score.<br /><br />CHRISTMAS, THANKSGIVING, Holidays<br /><br />I have so many great memories of horse racing days. I loved the pictures, the family, the races, the sounds, the cousins, the stands, the food, and the race itself. Oh ya, and then there we all those horses too...<br />heehehe. <br /><br />Days of playing in the basement making dances to Kami's new favorite music. Grandma would fix us snacks, and remind us to be careful with the "stuff" downstairs. We would have to eventually get something out of the storage and bring it up.<br /><br />I know we were all loved, but I'm pretty sure I was her favorite. "_) I remember most about Grandma was her love, her happiness, her devotion to her family, her sweetness when I walked in the door. Her hugs and kisses, her ability to tell me how much she loved and appreciated me as her granddaughter. It brought a smile to my face to drive up to her house because I knew the my Grandma would be there with a hug, a kiss, words of encouragement, and a vitamin C to make my day a little brighter.<br /><br />I'm already tearing up, so I'll write more when I have made better list. I love it when he turns a year older because people never believe he is "only 2, 3, 4, 5!" Now he is six and his stature is still unbelievable. He is a sensitive soul. He reminds me of my brother Jerry, my dad, and myself in the tender heart area. He is a good boy. He loves his friends and birthday presents. His favorite foods include steak, chicken, pizza, and bacon! He also loves veggies and everything else I feed him, except tomatoes. He is loves to snuggle and read books together. He knows dinosaurs! He also loves wii video games. He plays the piano every single day. He never tires of trying to figure out how to play new songs and working on his piano lessons. He likes baseball and plays with the ball that he got at the Rockies game often. He is almost 80 pounds and I am not sure how tall he is. He wears size 8 boys clothes. His shoe is size 3. He has lost one tooth and has another loose one right now. He likes to play "superpowers". His very favorite super power is "every power in the world." (which makes Josy mad every time and she then refused to play "superpowers" and Ethan just doesn't get why!) He is one great kid and I am very happy to be his mom. Ethan is loved.Bevhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04155858810168814537noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934149128938047753.post-42075117849182109772010-03-24T14:12:00.000-07:002010-03-24T14:21:44.645-07:00Colorado Spring Break<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGkuYq5d9dBLRNWOZhO1LwQ_Y_fWhXvv-74LPjfm3GR9Z84vsD4AVeWnT2ovhByusWJ-Vd7oPo9_ytA5waTnVb8CYMyt6o8c-M8ZXdUG4EDKAuw0_QzbMYqz1ehG5kY6FpkqkozkDctw/s1600/IMG_0081.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGkuYq5d9dBLRNWOZhO1LwQ_Y_fWhXvv-74LPjfm3GR9Z84vsD4AVeWnT2ovhByusWJ-Vd7oPo9_ytA5waTnVb8CYMyt6o8c-M8ZXdUG4EDKAuw0_QzbMYqz1ehG5kY6FpkqkozkDctw/s320/IMG_0081.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5452312207648668066" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1d83jX_yyZJKcKHa6SLvqpYzKV9tq8gbZ7p5AqqrFvMdeA5cBppMkOG6INJZab9cZVisuAqn7JOequc7_xzJOsyxbG05_h74g4onb1W05_yVdWKpI1vew-8Cn94HhsiSx2mUykvcT3Q/s1600/IMG_0067.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1d83jX_yyZJKcKHa6SLvqpYzKV9tq8gbZ7p5AqqrFvMdeA5cBppMkOG6INJZab9cZVisuAqn7JOequc7_xzJOsyxbG05_h74g4onb1W05_yVdWKpI1vew-8Cn94HhsiSx2mUykvcT3Q/s320/IMG_0067.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5452312198144801426" /></a><br /><br /><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>It has been a really fun day so far and it is only 3:22 in the afternoon. He has made it clear that he <i><b>can't believe</b></i> he used to be afraid to watch that movie. </div></div>Bevhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04155858810168814537noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934149128938047753.post-84206739750591607592010-02-20T19:30:00.000-08:002010-02-20T19:45:34.025-08:00Magical Power<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEife7tjf7N_o68kCqjeAYidPvMHmnwLnqFLW3MlVwfa9SckRFW5cztRo5lqxQbzKTCoD7ZsgW0V9llNmqwGgveNxgnVI6kSTOKicDMRaX3kJ0iTAQKHvL80bF87Z8iGmR39bpK5u8lUow/s1600-h/IMG_0181.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEife7tjf7N_o68kCqjeAYidPvMHmnwLnqFLW3MlVwfa9SckRFW5cztRo5lqxQbzKTCoD7ZsgW0V9llNmqwGgveNxgnVI6kSTOKicDMRaX3kJ0iTAQKHvL80bF87Z8iGmR39bpK5u8lUow/s320/IMG_0181.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440534318976230882" /></a><br />So I am going to have a baby and the day dream of laying down on my bed, especially from 5:30 - dinner time is like dreaming of happy bliss. <div>Scott comes home from work and the house is in a state of loudness to say the least. I am getting dinner started. Scott takes over everything and tells me to go rest if I want. I want! So I go upstairs away from the "loudness" (a nice way of saying ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh) and ... wait for it... Relax. It's funny because I can't sleep I am too entertained by the conversations happening between father and kids. I also sorta wonder if Scott is OK. (Sometimes he asks me where common things are in our house/kitchen. It blows my mind every time he ask me because wow... he really doesn't know where the trash bags are or the cleaner!) </div><div>Back to my point though! He makes the most delicious meal and sends J and E to get me for dinner. It was awesome. While I was resting Scott took this picture of all the kids reading. I love this picture. I also don't understand how it happened. When I make dinner Kirsten is holding on for dear life to both my legs. Scott is just magic I guess. </div>Bevhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04155858810168814537noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934149128938047753.post-11309620483922416482010-02-20T19:17:00.000-08:002010-02-20T19:28:51.330-08:00Home<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHJMQQeMcTs67eZKjEFdvgOA9DeeHfi4_Pf_jUu10FEzgTjYv2EESA3Lk4NxHYwQf3VxLfzBu0Gt_bMiWEw1SEzQ4ZSDE4RusQkPuDkDzoqBjrcxrbPqKyi8u0CPiEA71Q1OGDvi-jgw/s1600-h/IMG_0247.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 180px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHJMQQeMcTs67eZKjEFdvgOA9DeeHfi4_Pf_jUu10FEzgTjYv2EESA3Lk4NxHYwQf3VxLfzBu0Gt_bMiWEw1SEzQ4ZSDE4RusQkPuDkDzoqBjrcxrbPqKyi8u0CPiEA71Q1OGDvi-jgw/s320/IMG_0247.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440531329643054994" /></a><br />It is a real honor to know and be great friends with Jessie, Eddie, Tiana and Dash. Eddie has been gone for a year serving in Iraq. I can't believe he is home. It was so long, but so short now that it is over. A lot of things happen in a year when you have little kids. <div>Jess is such a sweet, strong, and composed person through hard times. (I cried more than her over this). </div><div>I get a bit tired of Scott's long hours at work sometimes but of course it is hard to complain while my best buddies man is at war! </div><div>Now that he is back, I can get down to really feeling sorry for myself again! </div><div>It is truly a blessing to be a citizen of this great nation. It is a blessing to have a family, a hardworking husband, a great husband, the gospel of Jesus Christ, friends, a warm home, etc.</div><div><br /></div><div>Look I just blogged again!</div>Bevhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04155858810168814537noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6934149128938047753.post-20264234632635357842010-01-05T19:30:00.000-08:002010-01-05T19:40:20.089-08:00Christmas 2009<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw1tMAmRI-Cf1GDjIEbCnxue_ttQGpjXfD66_F1oWBZ3ttYIF9k4Bo0lSRICJuyqUetXFeBf6p_0xhrxm4ZprKXP9rzMQ6DeqAGPzoV7SPjDpuOZ0VZbN3vY2uDBzWt13kRmaigyWEjw/s1600-h/100_7094.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 181px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw1tMAmRI-Cf1GDjIEbCnxue_ttQGpjXfD66_F1oWBZ3ttYIF9k4Bo0lSRICJuyqUetXFeBf6p_0xhrxm4ZprKXP9rzMQ6DeqAGPzoV7SPjDpuOZ0VZbN3vY2uDBzWt13kRmaigyWEjw/s320/100_7094.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5423465990949536098" /></a><br />Good fun!<div><br /></div><div>Yep, time to stop "blogging"</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>Bevhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04155858810168814537noreply@blogger.com0
